MATERIA
Esentially, crystallized Mako which allows the wielder to equip new command or support abilities, summon, or use various magical spells. As a SOLDIER 2nd Class, Kunsel has four in his possession of the six maximum materia allotted SOLDIERs 1st Class:

Cura: Restores a moderate amount of HP to the target.
Thundara: Fires several bolts of lightning at an enemy; can hit multiple targets.
Barrier: Protects against the effects of physical damage.
Fira: Shoots two fireballs at an enemy.
